Congratulations to Jr at "The Shop" for getting the job done for the Subaru fans.  On April 11, the fastest/quickest Subaru on 93 pump gas ran a fantastic 10.71 and 131 mph!  This run was made using the new 245/45-17 Hoosier Drag Radials.   The season's still early, but this Suby wins the $500 bounty for making the first 1.4 60' time on the new Hoosier Drag Radials.  We predict that the new Hoosiers are well on their way to being a "MUST HAVE" in the sport compact drag radial classes.

With the First $500 Check already claimed, we're preparing for the next goal.  Let us hear from you Hoosier 245/45-17 Drag Radial owners.  Maybe another $500 for the lowest '60 time by 12/31/2010 midnight?  Tell us what you think.

Check out our new CNC'd CLUTCH PEDAL STOP.  Recommended by nearly all clutch manufacturers, our new unit replaces the small OEM piece and provides a much better base and adjustability.

Tony Powell, OKIX, pilots our Wilson Manifolds/Forced Performance Evo IX to record setting 9.53 @ 148.43 and 149.58mph. Multiple easy 9 second passes were made on the new FP BLACK turbo. Watch the video here. These runs were not made at maximum boost, but rather at 5+ less lbs of boost to acquire important test data on the new setup.  Too bad the engine wasn't up to the task, but that's due to change shortly.  At the logged boost levels of the 9.53 run, the car dyno'd 667 whp on a Mustang Dyno.  During those same dyno sessions, in 2009, the car hit boost cut and STILL made in excess of 720whp.

Indy Evo runs 11.66@115.82 on a Perrin Airfilter, MBC and 9sec9 tune.

Jim also ran 11.69 @ 116.79!!  On the same night, at Oreilly Raceway Park, he twice broke his ET record and twice broke his MPH record.  Way to go Jim.  Who says you have to have an after market exhaust, O2 housing, ported throttle body, ported Intake, ported exhaust , bigger injectors, intake pipe, race intercooler, upper intercooler pipe, lower intercooler pipe and Walbro fuel pump just to run mid 11's? Too many have been over sold for years.  But then again, that doesn't make any money.  Don't get us wrong, these parts have a place, but  not if you're just running mid 11's.  What we HAVE done is add lighter wheels, Hoosier 245x45 Drag Radials,  Front Carbon Fiber aero panels (shutters), a Hallman Manual Boost Controller, a Perrin Air Filter and spend a lot of time testing, driving and tuning.  We're still not through.  Tonight, October 20th, the car is scheduled to once again go to ORP and try for another lower ET and higher MPH.

UPDATE: Jim made 3 runs of 116+ and ET's in the 11.7's.  DA was about 1350 feet. This season, Jim made nearly 90 passes WITHOUT A SINGLE BREAK or FAILURE!  Pretty OUTSTANDING for a car that was said to be 'TUNED ON THE EDGE'.  Just shows that many so called PROFESSIONAL TUNERS don't really know where the EDGE is, or how to evaluate tires.

At 9sec9.com, we are interested in one thing, PERFORMANCE. For some, performance is secondary to making money. With us, performance comes first.  We offer our items, and those of other vendors, with one purpose in mind, to make your car faster, better and more reliable.  We design each and every part with ultimate performance in mind.

If you're the kind that likes to cut corners, we're not the site for you. If, however, you want the finest quality with proven performance, you've found the right place.  We run what we sell. Many parts sold by other vendors are copies of someone else's design. We don't copy anyone.

We all know who designed the porting for the Wilson W2 (version 2.3) Manifold, Jim Kitasaki (IndyEvo).  Combining Jim's talents and those of the Wilson Manifolds staff, produced one of the first truly innovative manifolds for the Mitsubishi Evo. The Wilson Manifolds name is legendary in drag racing and we are proud to sell their products.  If you're looking for a copy, it's not here.  If you want the best and the original, welcome to our website.

Have an idea for a custom part?  With years of custom parts building on multiple race teams, Jim has the experience and the contacts to make anything a reality.  Engineering has it's place and you've found the place, at 9sec9.com.
